    EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT

 

The European Prehistoric Research Center (CERP) in Tautavel has an educational service composed of a History-Geography teacher and a teacher from S.V.T.

It offers educational activities, in accordance with the official teaching programs, supervised by specialized speakers and researchers.



Each year, our educational project obtains the agreement of the national education through the approval of academic inspectors.

TARGETED SKILLS :

​

1- Respect the rules of collective life.

​

The students apply the rules of life of the different places visited: museums, accommodation center and sports center. They share and organize a group living space as a group.

​

2- Speak orally and in writing in an appropriate and precise vocabulary.

​

Students use the vocabulary of everyday life: to play, to find their way, to ask or give information, to exchange with an adult.

 

Students acquire a precise vocabulary to talk about everyday life: personal objects and everyday objects.

​

3- Respect the main rules of healthy living; perform daily gestures without risking harm.

​

Students apply safety rules in risky sports.

 

4- Identify periods of history.

​

Students identify the main characteristics of a period in history. They discover the tools, the habitat, the way of life and the crafts of Prehistory.

They master some techniques of prehistoric art.

​

5- Achieve a measured performance in sports activities.

​

Students acquire knowledge related to the practice of new sports: climbing, rafting, canyoning.

​

ALL ACTIVITIES ARE PROVIDED IN FRENCH.

​

We consider that to be able to give particular attention to each child, their number must be limited. We are committed to favoring quality rather than quantity so that these colonies can provide children with all their educational content.
